 Dipix Applications Training Overview
Applications is responsible for providing both configuration training and operator
training to Dipix customers. This training typically occurs at the bakery, at the
time of new system commissioning. Although, Dipix Applications has also successfully
delivered 2 or 3 day sessions (at Dipix or the bakery) for existing customers that
have new employees, new products to measure, or would like a formal review of the
advancing Dipix software.
Operator Training provides basic theory of daily operation and techniques for
first level users. General operation of the user interface, including the
starting and stopping of production runs, viewing and understanding the
different measurement screens, and performing measurement verification are
reviewed. This training course consists of approximately a 1-2 hour lecture,
followed by 1-2 hours of hands-on training. It is recommended that line operators
and supervisors take this course as well as maintenance personnel.
As a new Dipix customer, if you are unsure what duties surround a Dipix system and/or
which of your employees are best suited to work on the Dipix system, Applications
will assist with this assessment.
Dipix strongly suggests that 2 or 3 people be designated as the Dipix system owner(s)
and it is the system owners that receive configuration training. The system owner
will become capable of training others on most aspects related to the Dipix inspection
system.
